Who we are
Polaris Opera is a new touring company based in Northampton with the aim of bringing opera and classical music to you, in your area, at an affordable price. We intend to perform opera in an accessible way while maintaining a high musical standard for our audiences. We're also keen to provide opportunities to young and/or newly trained singers at the start of their careers, including talented individuals who may not have come to classical music through the traditional route.
As a brand new company, we began in the Summer of 2018 by performing a series of themed recitals in local communities always with the intention of moving on to performing staged works later on. We are now at the stage of mounting our first double bill of one-act comic operas - a hilarious English language adaption of Pergolesi's La Serva Padrona by Richard Wiseman and Marian Bryfdir and Wolf-Ferarri's Il segreto di Susanna - coming soon in February 2020.

Polaris Opera are delighted to be visiting Titchmarsh for the first time as part of our mission to bring high-quality music to local communities at an affordable price.
This fabulous line-up of young professional singers promise an entertaining evening of popular songs and arias as well as all of your festive favourites.
Featuring Organ Prawang (Soprano), Helen Appleton (Soprano), Andrew Powis (Tenor) and Michael Bushnell Smith (Baritone). The extremely talented Italian pianist, Marco Belluzzi, will be accompanying.
Adults: £10 in advance or £12 on the door.
